Flat Four Shootout, Sydney NSW

Hey guys,


The not sure weather anyone has heard of the Flat Four Shootout. Its a yearly event hosted by the Flat Four Veedub Club. It will be hosted at the Michael Wendon Centre, 62 Cabramatta Rd, Miller on the 4th of November.


Ive never attended before, but have heard that it is mainly an Aircooled dominated event. Just wondering weather any watercooled VeeDubers are attending. Would be good to see some old Skool Passats and Golfs standing out among all the Bugs and Kombis.

Its like Flat Four Clubs version of the Nationals. Its an indoor and out door event.

Also a swap meet outside so im told.

Basically a smaller version of the nationals

It's a great venue and you do not need to pre-enter, although a pre-entry will probably get you inside.

Dammit I just had the flyer in my car (been sitting in there since VW Nats earlier this April) but only recently threw it out while cleaning the car Would the people in NSW be up for making a watercooled attendance? I would come along for sure.

Yes, the show is the Flat Four's Annual Event similar to Club VeeDub's, just smaller, but well worth seeing and the Water Cooled portion, like at the nationals, is growing in numbers.

If you need a larger image of the event (Or you've lost your glasses), I have a huge one if needed..

The swap meet is usually good and the standard of show cars is very high.

Hey guys,

Great to see that the watercooled presence in strong here. As mentioned before I was gonna bring my Beetle but she wont be ready as its not 100% yet.

Watercooled cars are gonna stand out among all the aircooled Vee Dubs. Ive decided to bring the Passat, something different.

Hoping to catch heaps of Golfs etc.
