I'm most likely just taking the green mk3 down now. Water got into the thermo fan relay on the VR and now it doesn't work. I can't be effed rushing to get a part atm. I'll let you know if anything changes.

OXENFORD CAR SHOW 2nd OCTOBER 2011- UPDATE

WOO HOOO

WE NOW HAVE 58 ENTRANTS FOR THE SHOW

Still 4 hours to go may still get another 2 to make it 60
+ the extra 8 VW's from the GC VEE DUB Club.

We are definitely making a stand for the VW brand at this show, considering Warwick is the same day

The only down side is that VWDC have taken back the VW Marquis, which was pre-booked for the Warwick Show.
But we shall still have a white 6 x3 & blue 3 x 3 Gazebo, Flags, etc to make a great display

OUR ENTRANT NUMBER IS NOW 64
+ 8 TOTAL 71 VW's at Show, WOW

There will be approx 450+ our VW's at the show, it will be amazing to see such a turn out of VW's at an ALL CAR show.

I have bought 2 extra tickets for any last minute peps, contact me asap

Thanks to everyone that has entered and all that will attend the event without a car,
the support has been amazing, "what a stand for the VW Brand"

woooaah! 64! my mate wont come along he's not much of a car enthusiast :/ says he'll just feel stupid having his stock mk4 there next to all the other ones!
Edit: We make roughly a fifth of all the cars there!

INFO for Day
We shall be there from 6.30am on the Sunday, Please try to be there before 9am

1. Have the Black Sticker with your Number on your windscreen, for easy entry
2. Put the White Card on Dash.
3. You will be directed to VW section (not that you will miss it )
4. Wait for one of us to direct you to your parking place,
5. Come to the table under the gazebo and fill in a small white card for the prize draw (40+ prizes for our Entrants that come on the day ONLY)
6. There will be a prize draw every hour on the hour starting at 10am, should be fun
7. For those we don't know Introduce your self to us (Rosemarie & Tony- VR6pitcrew-I'm terrible with names so please forgive me if I've forgotten yours -oops my bad)
8. Have fun meet & chat to other entrants
9. Don't forget to bring a chair.

There will be lots to see & do.

Looks like my car wont be making an appearance not that its much to look at at the moment anyway. Failed RWC inspection yesterday and my unregistered vehicle permit runs out today, so it will not be registered and the ealiest I could get it booked in for second rwc is next monday :/

Sorry guys.

May still make the trip down in the mothers car.
