Yeah mate the VW watercooled scene is poor here, same old same old really, thats one thing i do miss about the UK show scene, ah well lets hope it changes, but ive been saying that for years now.

OK now there is no excuse if you want it to happen, we have to do something about it, so you have to be at the next meeting we will post the date, see you there !! only an hour, we have a bit of dinner before hand.
Lets build the scene - show the other states how it's done, maybe we can one day, not to long from now have a Big State show, (like The Nationals up here- how cool would that be!!)

If we are going to build the Club and the VW watercooled scene.
We need more people to attend the meetings and join the club.
We need ideas on how to attract more members to the club.
Ideas on how to make the shows better and attract more of the public to attend.
Action Day last year was great, all that went really enjoyed it.
Lets, at least, double the watercooled attendance this year.
So come to the meeting, bring friends and ideas.
I already have a few new ideas to put forward next meeting.

hi guys, nationals is over, thanks if theres anyone from nsw vw club on here...

anyway once again ive started wondering about putting the ACTION back into our event action day thats on in september every year, back many years it was a drag racing event from memory, last year i was new to the club scene/committee, this year im playing president, yay me so anyway now that some of us went to the show AND track day, who would be keen for some sort of motorsport event along side the show...
ill be bringing it up at the next committee/general meeting that i can get to & would like to get a feel for people that would consider racing & what they consider fair pricing. even better if your already active in some form of motorsport at whatever level.

I think if it is a show and has some sort of track element it would be quite good to see the potential of the cars as well.

There is dinner available at the RSL, we had dinner there last time.

Tomorrow night is the night for the monthly meeting of the VW drivers club, time to put forward ideas and get involved, we shall definitely be there between 6 & 6.30 for a bite to eat before the meeting.
Can't wait to tell them about the Oxenford Car show, woo hoooo, so determined to get the VW scene out there
