Thanks guys for making today the success that it was.
We had a great turn out, lots of fun, heaps of laughs. Will have to meet up again soon.

Special thanks to Tim and Woody for grabbing the food and all the staff at HPF for working hard from 8.30AM until everyone had their run!!

If I have left anyone off the list I do apologise, please list your forum ID, model of your car and the power you made.

I have also attached a Dyno log of my car, feel free to upload your dyno's if you want.

Dean, any chance you could list the known mods (if any) next to the vehicles above?
Would just help see where everything sits (and to make sure no one panics that their stock GTI isn't making 220kw... )

      Mine is below:

If people want to post their mods I will update the original post. But I don't know everyone's. The Audi S4 B5 had Stage 3 kit with DNA Tuning. HCGTI is running GIAC with Big Turbo (GT2 most cars are just standard with ECU flash and or intake, fuel pump.

Fab_R is APR Stg 2+ (For now )

Anyone know how to interpret the torque figure from N to Nm?

And thanks for organising a great event, Dean and Tim. I hope this happens annually at the least - the lack of attitude and aggro when people meet face to face is very heartening.

thank you dean & tim for organising this. this was my first dyno day, and i was stoked with the results (to be honest, i was hoping that the little diesel would be somewhere around 80fwkw, i would have been happy... but 89.5 = happy happy scotty).

great day, great to see what our cars are capable of, and great to have a little chin wag with you guys.

i didnt see too many plots from the day, but jesus christ, John (DNA Tuning John)... gti_dave's power curve for his skoda octavia looked like it was drawn by Da Vinci! bloody unreal!

i'll get my plot up... as well as a little vid of my "hairdresser blue" polo with "some two stroke oil in the tank" mod

p.s. in line with kaanage's sentiment, it's always good to hook up with fellow dubbers in real life... takes the ""uh uh, naughty naughty, you posted better figures than a forum sponsor / pls delete this thread as it outlines some faults in the .zip file tune that we download from overseas / there is soot... im a professional... but there is soot... bail card - someone friendnancially familiar bail me out NOW" element out of things, which is always refreshing.

Scotty, I must have missed you - I left around noon.

Yes indeed David's 2.0T dyno chart blew my mind - it's a shame my own car wasn't running up to scratch (isn't that ironic) but at least all my customers cars were running great.

Also looking forward to taking Adam's pog up to the next level once he gets his supporting modifications.

All in all, it was a great day - I can't help but feel that all the all wheel drive dyno results were all quite low, but at least the comparisons can be consistent amongst the front drivers and the amongst the AWD.

For instance, there were a couple of B6 1.8TQ's which both posted healthy, smooth looking charts/graphs, but the figures were simply much lower. One of them was an APR Stage 2/2+ with ER front mount, exhaust, etc. which got 103kw which isn't a bad result, but considering Stage 1 polos were doing 115kw, stage 2+ polos doing 140kw; it can't *only* be down to AWD drivetrain losses. The other 1.8TQ had a frankenturbo K04 with a range of supporting mods, also well tuned with a great looking curve, but pulled only 130kw.

Furthermore, the black B5 S4 with a GIAC chip and exhaust pulled 153kW; even Hyper1's Stage3 S4, whilst it got almost 240kW at the wheels is an impressive figure; I was expecting to see much higher, given the performance level of the car.

Regardless, as mentioned, the results seemed consistent amonst the front drives, and amongst the AWD's, so the results are still useful for analysing.

Yeah agreed the polo k03 with mods made pretty health power gains. Can't believe how my twin charge polo made such a flat power curve with no hint of transition between the super and turbo? Mind boggles what a bugger turbo and other mods could do to these cars!
