Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Thanks to the organisers and participators. I had a good day! Nice to meets everyone too.

Here are my pics, I was absolutely not committed as it was too hot to walk back and forth! (Lazy).
If for some unusual reason you want the high res shots of these, just let me know.

Love the Polo rocking the Porsche Turbo Twists, I'd love a set on the Golf! Where did you get them?

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

Amen Bro. I also got home without incident. Wouldnt have gone if I`d realized it was DDs.

Nice one to Aaron for setting up the shade. We will make a better meet point and route next year.

Anyone got any more pics??? Sorry I didn`t get to talk to most of the lads with late model stuff, I wanted to, but had 2 small kids to take to the beach.

Had a swim in the sea and it is quite a dangerous beach, shelves sharply and has a rip. Lucky I`m a good swimmer, could have been messy.
Maybe a more gentle beach next time.

Had a pub lunch on the way back after helping Brenton with his puncture!

All good, just nursing my sunburn.

Hope all of you will come to the meet at our new shop on Friday. See you there.

Big thanks to Aaron for setting everything up! Was great to meet everyone, although I'm disappointed there's only one pick of my cabby up there so far!

I've got some pics and video to upload. Will try and do it tomo if I get a chance.

Definitely up for some more summer cruising if anyone else is? Thanks!

I got back to Canberra ok. Did see a number of cops pointing hair dryers at cars on my way home... None mad a made a mad dash to follow me though... Now that I'm living down here now I have to remember about the bloody double demerit points!!

As promised a few more photo's. not the best as they were only taken on my iPhone if anyone wants copies PM me.

Sorry mostly of the older cars. Before I left i went in search of jay jay's car wanted to take a look at it but couldn't find it... where'd you park?

If anyone's interested in the videos i can try and edit them but they'r not the best quality and they pretty much exclusively of xc17ed's 32's rear end!!

Hey ray, video wasn't great sadly! If I get a chance later in the week I was going to try and edit a few snaps from them together. That bloody falcon ruined them though!
