  • NSW Did You Say The Entrance?

    G'day one and all

The first Polo 6R and other VW's cruise will start from 200 Pennant Hills Road, Thornleigh (Caltex Petrol Station) this is a great place to meet and fill up before turning onto the F3 for the cruise up to the Entrance (pending weather and personal changes).

petrol station pennant Hills road - Google Maps

    Google maps location.

The cruise will be set for one of the Saturdays March 5th or March 12th (depending who can or cannot make it)

most likely the cruise will need to begin fairly early to avoid traffic, to take it slow and enjoy our time at The Entrance times will be discussed later if anyone lives up that way or frequents on the F3 any advice is most welcome.

    Cheers

Sounds interesting, we head up that way to the esplanade and the little water park thingy there for the kids every now and again

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

As long as its not a Honda Integra Type R with Rice stickers, fake ugly mufflers with LEDS in the insert then i think its ok, VW bought Skoda Anyways so it would only be fair to welcome to Slovak car makes

I keep thinking about getting some rice stickers made up for the VR6. I was thinking about getting just white text of things like bread, milk, coffee but in German

                So something like this:
                Bread
                Milk
                Coffee
                Flour
                Juice

                becomes:
                Brot
                Milch
                Kaffee
                Mehl
                Saft

Mind you I don't know that I could leave it on permanently... but maybe for a weekend and a VW show

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

Why not Old Pac instead of F3?

I used to do that commute when I lived at Blue Bay and it is a very tedious drive.

Don't know whether the surface has been redone and if not then i don't want to obligate people to drive on a pot hole ridden road and finding out a week later someones car is in a world of pain

Also The_Hawk if you fill up with 98 premium you could have a sticker Das Auto Saft! "Automobile Juice"

Well considering we will be in a pack its perfectly fine to hold the left lane and just cruise it up, F3 to me is the Safest bet, but look if some guys want to take the Old Pac and meet up at The Entrance that;s fine also just need numbers for weekends of the 5th and 12th, most likely looking at the 12th.

Pray to god this bloody rain stops wouldn't mind catching a few sandy flatheads.

If people actually want to drive rather than commute, I'd be happy to do an Old Pac run.
