Have you even had the coils checked? You know mine died the other week? It dropped a cylinder and was lumpy as ****. I had to get t towed. Get the coils checked!

Hey all,

I had a great time at the meet, thanks to all for turning up and getting involved.

I popped my Green Mk4 on the end - the one with the smashed bumper. Hopefully that will be all fixed by the next meet. Just got a quote to fix it for $2900, but the other guy's insurance company will be paying for that

Hopefully they will agree with the quote.

Anywho, looking forward to the next one. Loved to see the variety of cars.

I done coil today on a Mk5 that was "fine" yeah wasnt fine , get it checked and have them watch the misfire counter. If it has done it enough it will log a random misfire and pipoint the cyl in question.

Sway bar eh... That's the thingy you put in place of the back seats to stiffen up the chassis? I'm not sure I'd get a lot of use out of that I'm afraid! The back seats are staying in to move people around, and the chassis seems stiff enough to handle the brutal 74kW that the 1.6 puts out.

Well... apparently it put that out when it was new, 12 years ago.

Hi guys, it was a good meet. It was good to meet a few of you even though names are hard to remember. There is a variety of models and that always makes it interesting. It was very interesting to see that pretty much all cars were modified. Makes me feel that my stock Jetta needs something done to it. Oh well, time will tell, plus I already have my modified car. Look forward to the next one guys.
