  • QLD Euro meet #2: 21/01/2011

    Hey all,

Excellent turnout on the X-MAS meet last night! To those of you who made it, thank you very much! To those who didn't, next time or else...(you can find photos HERE)

Here's the flier for the next meet! Spread it around forums! We saw a lot of the Renault boys out the other night as well as VWs, but other than that it was pretty few and far between in terms of other Euros! Let's aim to get a nice variety for the next one!

Justin counted 45 cars i think he said? Which given the circumstances is brilliant! Let's aim for 60 at least for the next meet.

    @ Location: Google Maps.

Will hopefully put on some snags next time; thanks to Justin and VR6Pitcrew for bringing cold drinks last night though, very much appreciated guys!

Also, what do people think of this as a promo card?

    -Drew.

Yeah; was going to see what people thought of them, then setup a Paypal donation fund then hopefully hand them out to some members at a Harrys' meet one night to spread accross the nation; You can get about 250 cars with $50. Each member would only really need 10-15 cards.

Drew, You are amazing Before the first euro meet I saw a fair few nice Euro's park around the area and though "Damn if only I had a card or something to leave in the wiper for the owner." Lol.

I think 60 cars isn't out of reach for us. Hopefully it will encourage more people to join the Euro side in the future, It also somewhat pushes us to mod more as each meet you can see change's of cars.

I am happy to contribute to the cards.

O-K, tonight i'll make a page where you can Donate to the fund, all proceeds will goto Business cards at the start, if we get more than expected it will goto Sausages, Bread and Drinks; NONE of this money will be used for personal gain. Be rest assured.

I'd be happy to chip in for the cards. There are plenty of modded up euros out there that have no clue of meets and such
