Euro meet #2: 21/01/2011

I'll most likely be cruising up from the Coast, so I might meet up with you kids at Coomera.

So, assuming that the weather is all good. What has been the final verdict for the pre meet for those of us around the Toowong/Milton area. Is it Mt Cootha or Centenary Pool. Just so that everyone is clear.

Meet @ Coomera BP between 5:45 - 6pm for a 6:15pm Departure .. Will all park out the back near the truck stop, makes for an easier departure

Primarily for cars of european marques (vw/audi/porsche/peugeot/renault/citroen/saab/fiat/bmw/merc/jaguar/landrover/ferrari etc)
We did have 2 ford's turn up last time (focus RS which is very euro and an XR5 which isn't as euro) so being euro designed seems to have allowed them in.

However we have at least one guy turning up this time in a jappo car which has been deemed acceptable so long as the number of euro car's still dominates the landscape.

And yet one of my cars, that is actually MADE in Europe wasn't welcome!

Oh well,
I'll bring the identifiably Euro one this time!

And Wolfman101 everyone should be more accomodating this time since this is going to be a frequent monthly thing.
Just come over and say hi, i noticed you drive up but couldn't pick you out from the crowd so i never said hi.

Has anyone organised snacks for this?
What is the plan and should i contribute to the drinks/food if we are having them?

Sorry weewilly. That is why I asked the question. It looks like it is Mt Cootha at the moment. Just trying to sort out the exact place.

Team_v, yes, that is the spot except I think that you have to go up the hill and just past it and come back down the hill a touch. Or is it easier to meet in the car park at the bottom. Right where it says the planitarium. We need to lock it in so that we all know what is going on.
