Apologies for the late notification.

Unfortunately I have to bail out due to backlog of work(overtime) as a result of the flood. Rest assured I will make it to next month's meet.

I will update the other boys at performanceforums and inform you guys whether they're still in or not. FYI, prolly some of them were affected by the flood so fingers crossed and hope they're ok.


btw, just a suggestion to next month's meet, it would be great if the meet falls on a Saturday or Sunday. Just my two cents.

Alright, I'm gonna attempt to come along and check out the meet. At this stage, should be all good. Might see if I can drag the bro along. When you say euro meet. What sorts of cars does that include. Is it just VW/Audi or is other cars allowed, for instance, ford fiesta or mondeos, or astras etc etc?? Cheers.

Primarily for cars of european marques (vw/audi/porsche/peugeot/renault/citroen/saab/fiat/bmw/merc/jaguar/landrover/ferrari etc)
We did have 2 ford's turn up last time (focus RS which is very euro and an XR5 which isn't as euro) so being euro designed seems to have allowed them in.

However we have at least one guy turning up this time in a jappo car which has been deemed acceptable so long as the number of euro car's still dominates the landscape.

Count me in too..... Do those from Brisbane and Northern Surburbs want to meet up at Mt Cootha "Lovers Lane" ? then convoy it to Hamilton? Will be my first meet so be nice lol.... And I'm forever seeing that Green/Black Golf everywhere. Who is this mysterious driver? lol

Can't wait for this, weather should still hold up.
So far 35 members from VWWC alone so we are looking pretty good, should hit the 40 mark from just us.


I have emailed the downshiftaus guys but i am not sure if they will make it, then never replied to my emails.
Also emailed the vw/bmw/merc/fiat/saab/lotus clubs of QLD to notify them of our plans for a monthy gathering and advised them of the meet coming up this friday.
Not sure what else we can do to raise interest other than getting it on the specific forums (which i am not a member of) or going through boostcruising.


Ironman, I am not sure where lover's lane is at Mt Coottha but we are without a usual pre-meeting place as Milton Maccas is closed so it could be an option.

Lovers Lane is that spot on the way down, where everyone parks for the city views half way up the mountain. I'll be there from 6.15 ish lol

Just sitting here "Brain Farting"™ . How about Centenary Pools Carpark @ Spring Hill. Lots of space, Open, Easy to access from all directions. And Great Scenery. I used to sit up there for hours in my old Tow truck lol....

I'm easy just so long as we get it set in stone so no one goes to the wrong spot. I hate that happens to me all the time lol....
