IMPORTANT NOTICE
Adelaide has had 35.6 mm of rain since Sunday. While we are lucky to have clear weather for the rest of the week and Sunday, the amount of rain has caused us significant problems.
The TTG Council contacted us this morning, and met with members of the Committee at lunch time. The end result was that the Coucil will not allow cars on Civic Park.
With full credit to the TTG Council, they worked hard to find us another venue where at least we can still put on a show. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold the Show on an oval or Park because of amount of water on the grounds.
The Show will now be held near the Golden Grove Shopping Centre at the netball courts. I realize that some people will not like to spend the day on the bitumen, but unfortunately, the issue is beyond our control.
The main point is that the Show WILL GO ON, and the Volkswagen Club of SA asks all potential entrants to stick with us and support this event.
I will examine the area tonight and post map(s) of the area. There will be a Club person at the original site at Civic Pk to direct entrants & provide a mud map.
