Lol... although it looks easy on paper, It's not... Especially here in hot sunny QLD in the summer. To be honest the fastest time I'v ever heard of from a GTI at Willowbank is a 13.9 during the middle of winter. (Aside from Guy's STG 3's)
It's a hard recipe with FWD turbo's...

isaw did ok, and agree it would take some skill launching it. I always wish i did a run in the R32 but knew it was a bit heavy with the sub-woofers.

Exactly... Isaw still didn't crack 100MPH but did manage a 13.9 in cold conditions which obviously turbo's thrive on.
Shane was cracking 103MPH but the more power the GTI has to make that, the harder it gets to get off the line and make usefull time of it.
It would of been good if you did run the 32 one day, But oh well... Have fun with your new beast now Greg!
