On Sunday 5th December we will be hosting our full day track event at Morgan Park Raceway (about 1.5 hours from Brisbane)

Full day with instructors, different groups for different levels of cars / drivers.

Looks like I'm having sunday the 5th of December off... I really have an itch to have a go on a track.

sweet, I was wondering what track we would be using.
Aside from helmet, longsleeve's and long pants... Is there anything else I am required to bring?

Do I need a Cams licence for this?

No Cam's Licence required.

Long sleeves & long pants, sensible shoes.

Helmets are required - if you don't have one, you can rent for $44-00 for the day.

A few of us will be staying overnight in Warwick to save the early drive down in the morning.

We will have people there to help with car set-up & advice as well.

No problem, lots of experienced instructors / participants there to help.

If you've never done a track day or only a few, these days are very good value. I've done 2 advanced courses with Safe Drive Training, the second one being to brush up on a few things and I've done ~20 track days. It helps having a more experienced driver either giving you tips, or just to reassure that your lines, braking, corner speeds are good. I found that I wasn't utilising all the track width, so have made that my focus at trackdays since. Never stop learning.

Grrrr.... Just found out I might be racing in Sydney on the 4th and 5th!!! RAGE!!
I still have a slight chance to get out of it though, But doesn't look promising
