Where is this Loftus park? I might be interested if I'm in the city that weekend.

It is not actually Loftus Park, it is Loftus Oval car park which is on the Eastern side of the Princes Hwy just north of Farnell Ave (the road leading into the National Park).

attach a bulldozer bucket and run down those cyclists who fail to use the emergency/bike lane but use main road user lanes!

Either that or they should start paying road registration fees if they're going to be jerks.

            The Other way

If you want to avoid the cyclists why not consider the route in reverse?

            Heathcote Rd/M5/Bowral/Moss Vale/Robertson/Jamberoo/Sutherland

Well we have thought about moving the meet point to Pheasants Nest MOBIL Servo on the M5 and coming around the back way now.

So meeting point has changed, drive is same.. time is the same except we are coming from the back way now instead.

Why change it? The cyclists are going to be everywhere however we can avoid them but i have heard now apparently will be a bunch of riders going through the natio as well which will ruin it as i dont think anyone wants to be doing 5km/h behind bikes up hill as they are entitled to use the road as well of course.

                  So..

10am Meet - Mobil Servo (after picton) @ Pheasants Nest in the car park.

The M5 at the Mobil Servo at Pheasants Nest Southbound. From there we will head up through to Bowral and continue on from the back way around through to Kanga Valley to the Pump House, and also the Camping Grounds again as last time and through back roads to Berry then home.

Returning home via M5 or via Kiama/Wollongong MT Jamberoo Road for additional drive or just do the m5/or gong eway to get home quicker.

If you cant make it due to the change all good, small crew is great for this drive and is a lot more interesting and nicer than the other way anyhow!

                            matty,

see how goes i might be able to.. depends on weather too. (even tho im awd worry about the others lol)

straight up the m5, keep going for about 45m/hour and soon as you see a Mobil Servo (first one) you pull off.. Pheasants Nest :p
