Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • I'm fine with not having the plates blurred out; I mean, there are no photos of us doing burnouts or donuts right? =)

Thanks again for bringing your camera along.

Exactly. If you're obeying the road rules, which you should be anyway, you've nothing to hide.

Just a tad cross with myself. Scrapped the front lip and carbon fibre on the exit from "Pie in the Sky". Incoming cars stopped me from taking it at an angle. Oh well, it was bound to happen sooner or later.

        • Bummer; as long as the scratch is only visible underneath it, I personally wouldn't be bothered much I guess - but I know that feeling! Anyway, sweet looking GTI chris.

I'm fine with my plate displayed. Bummer, about the front lip! Hope the damage is minimal.

            • I didn't get many pics, just a few at the stop in Gembrook. First ones are up, more to come.

shame about your front skirt, chris- hopefully it's not too bad?
