Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Heavy rain forecast for Victoria over the weekend could dump the state's monthly rainfall in less than 48 hours, with some areas being warned to brace for flooding.

Put me down as a maybe. I have a party the night before so getting up that early might be difficult. Will bring my Mk2 GTI if I'm coming.

Would be great to have you along. As I said earlier, if you can't make it to the meet-up location, if you PM me I can give you my mobile number and give you an approximate time when we might be at Gembrook or Olinda!!

Okay! Just finished the pace notes and will enough copies for everyone on Sunday!
Nothing to complicated, After Gembrook there is the option to Take head back to Macclesfield and take Macclesfield road, or take Gembrook-Lauching Place Road, a slightly longer circuit.
There are a few round abouts on the cruise so don't worry about keeping up with the driver infront! Its not a race, if you miss a turn have a look at the notes to find your way.

                Start- Bunnings (Melway 73, A7)
                TL- FTG road
                Proceed to Burwood HWY

                Proceed into Gembrook
At Gembrook, we will try to park in Main Street, or in the parking at the Gembrook Bakery. (LHS- Opposite Post Office)

                From Gembrook Option 1.

Yes- That is the long version- will decide on the day whether to do the shorter or the longer. The shorter version is still fun. The shorter version is on the first post.
