Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Given I got 28 days to put another 500km on the TSI so that it reaches 1,000kms (1,000-1,500km being the fun run-in period where I can push the car). I'll c how I go otherwise I can always do what mitchyd does and bring my civic instead... However, I don't want to turn it into a civic vs veedub thing...
I'm undecided for now. thnx for the heads up tho2010 Golf 118TSI (United Grey)

a nice run through the mountains is a fantastic way to run a new engine in. Just keep the revs down and youre fine. Shouldnt be scared to get some load on the engine thats for sure.
