bugger! I'll be marshalling at the King Edward Park hillclimb on Sunday. Otherwise i would have been keen to check the current health of the gti, but also (provided i got a diff swap done) i probably would have been keen to dyno my e30... I'll wait until next time

It wont cause any harm. They do not rev the guts out of it until it goes nuts or anything. Basically rev it cleanly out slowly on the rollers (You'd prob drive it harder to be honest with you).

Its not that daunting! Make your decision on the day if you want to run thats no worries!

I won't be attending for two reasons.

1) I was at the last one and my car hasn't changed enough to warrant dynoing it again.

2) Despite turning up at 8am I got the pleasure of seeing a Lancer arrive at 12pm and go on the dyno before my car did. Not bad considering it was suppose to be a VAG day with no bump ups.

Fair call that was like me, kind of soured the day into some sort of boys club crap. But I guess it's natural to be biased to mates. All in all the day was solid.

I really enjoyed last springs one, I brought the white mk1 and I had a fun day, I was happy to see 95hp at the wheels

Now, I finally have my mk3 diesel dyno-able, and I have plans this weekend. Sorry I didnt see this thread earlier or I'd have worked around it.

I really wanted to come up and run, but I have a go kart race day (lets not kid ourselves here, I have a go kart "casual practice but don't kill yourself" day, but whatever) so can't turn up fellas. would have loved to see you all and meet some new faces.
