Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

home again, long ass drive >.<

good to see old faces and plenty of new ones...what a great turn out! (for us WA Dubbers)

eventfull day, saw cops take down the MK5 GTI when he should have pulled over the Red 911 who was infront of him...mind you, i spotted that cop 300 meters away - Omega wagon (who runs one of those?) + he had enough ariels to communicate with the space station & cage over the rear seats/boot = dead give away...if in doubt, don't overtake

Spotted 100 meters ahead in Belmonte a truck skip the curb, turns out it wasn't a curb but a sweet looking Golf!! sorry for your loss - claim the **** out of it, he's paying

Cheers to Geoff yet again for organising the meet....now its time to try the garlic/chilli salt i bought on some steaks

Was really cool to see everybody today and to meet everyone i hadn't already.
Some really nice cars today my definite favourites were all those sweet air cooled dubs, that Karmann Ghia was pimp.
I reckon that corrado has to be the cream of all the water cooled dubs.

Chuck those pics are great, i love the ones from the DNA point of view
Looking forward to the next event/cruise sometime soon.

            Cheers, Pedro

It was a nice day. Didn't cruise down there, came down in my own time and didn't bring my car in which I realised I should have because I didn't see any TDI's there!
Loved the R32 plates MYR032 - have planned on this being my next car in three years time lol.
Saw a few cops coming down which my boyfriend was spotting for me, cant afford the fines - and on the way back I was playing with a Porsche and Mercedes AMG pretty much all the way home, fun fun.

Yep, good show, nice to see how it's done in australia... thanks Russ for taking me up there in the corrado, hardly have to add one of the best cars there.

Loved the ghia, and pedro your mk1 is cool - don't let anyone make you change the colour, it's spot on.

Who had the mk3 Colour Concept? Mentioned it reminded me of this: Back to 95 - Players Salsa Green MK3 VR6 5dr Colour Concept - Edition 38 Forums - Page 12 and you said to send you a link to some photos...
