Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Would people like it to start in the morning? What about this weekend, Jindalee McDonalds at 9:00am?

I live in Mt Nebo and drive my MK 2 to work everyday in Eight Mile Plains, takes me just over an hour in the morning and then some in the afternoon. Often see some nice Golfs on my way home and wonder if the owners are on here!

Off topic, but why don't members of the forum have the vww logo put on their front and rear windscreens. Just a small simple thing to help everyone see each other? Surely getting some stickers made up would be simple...?

We already have the cruise this Sunday, but if you're talking about meeting up earlier on Sunday, I'd be keen.

VWW already have some made up, but it'd be good to have some locally made and available.

Another westie here... Pullenvale. Moggil Road is a nice way to get into the swing of things as long as its not peak hour. I am keen to rock up to a meet occassionally... just seeing if I can squeeze in tomorrow afternoons cruise. Haven't been able to get to one yet!
