My thoughts would be leave at like 3-4 in the morning (yes i know stupid early) and get some good KMs to say Coffs or even Port for some breakfast which is about 5ish hours away (to Port)... we could get breakfast and break and be there at like 8-9 in the morning.... That takes a big chuck out and is doable... still plenty of time for sleep prior and gets is breaks throughout the day...

I should be close to being able to make it to Port without a stop for Fuel as its approx. 450km LOL... you smokers will be fine for fuel unti like Syndey..
    I'm down with that

Ps. I'm getting rather excited now

wanted to BUMP this... Do we need to do a prelim meet to organise or can it been done through this tread...

So at this stage everyone seems to be happy to meet at Chinderah servo on the highway. What time? 3-4am?

We can use this meeting point to put fuel in the cars.

my thoughts are we should aim to drive to Coffs which is about 3.5hours or Port Macquarie (which is two hours further) and stop for Breakfast and break.. this is about 5ish hours drive which is a solid first stage if we stop at Port. This will get us in at say 9ish in the morning...

Its about 4ish hours then to Sydney where people can part off to there desired accomodation... based on leaving at say 10am giving a hour breakfast, we would get into the sydney area at around 2-3pm depending if we stopped again somewhere for toliets etc...

i am sorry to be a pain in the ass but wanted to confirm who is wanting to drive down together. If not, I will just leave very early and do the drive myself but thought a bit of a road trip with a few others would be good and potential good photo op..

Do we have confirmed people doing the drive down?

Guy.. been think about it but honestly think I will go to Superlap instead.. its closer to drive to and maybe a once in a lifetime opprotunity to see some of these car from japan in the flesh...

I also might need to pop in for the retune before I drive down LOL... I am hoping I can make time to do this but my days are quickly filling up with tyres needing to be fitted and few other things...

I will be travelling in my car, not sure if I can make Chinderah by 3am, thats a 1am leave for me to get there. I need to be at Singleton at 4pm to collect my son and then we are on for Wakefield for Saturday, still trying to organise accomodation and times as may have to return on the Sunday night for work Monday.

Sounds fantastic, I think a 4am meet at Chinderah sounds good.

It'd be good to go down all together. I'd like to leave Chinderah at about 4ish but I'll generally go with that the crowd's doing.

Ps. Getting pretty freakin excited for this!!

Confirmed are me and Auscare in my car. Along with a straggler but he's not coming down for the Nats.
