This thread is for anyone who's interested in heading down to the Nationals weekend on May 22/23.

Me and a few others are heading down either Thursday or Friday, but are unsure of what day we're coming back up (Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday).

Post in this thread if you're interested in heading down in convoy style and we might meet up before hand to confirm everything.

i am pretty keen pending work.. i would probably like to head down early Friday and come back early monday though...

should prbably try and organise the same place to stay at as well.

Looks like i might have to sit out this one this year, still unsure, so much on. That can all change, i booked flights at the last minute last time

There is not many options for hotels in the area... all like motels etc are really around Eastern Creek...

The Chifley Eastern Creek might be alright? Its about a 20 min drive to the showgrounds for the Sunday... if we got there on the Friday night, its about an 1, 45min drive to the sprints for those that would want to go on the Saturday morning but close for the Sunday?

EDIT - no rooms available on Friday night and no covered parking...

I'd be keen and in pretty much the same boat at Byza - work will hopefully let me get time off and I'd need to be back for a Tuesday working week start. Accom will be the deciding factor for me I think.

I could be up for this and surly there are some camping grounds in the area in there is no permenent accoms.... I also propose a return thrip through Bathurst for driving and photo pleasure

have you sorted out accomdation? travellodge ended up being $521 for 2 people including breakfast for 3 nights... not bad really at $260 each with a feed...
