yeah guys, thanks for an AWESOME day!

i cant believe i ended up finding you guys. do you know, when i called van at 11:30, i was at A mcdonalds, PAST dandenong. upon his advising me to heat OUT of the city, i drove BACK to dandenong. when i saw the ''melbourne xx kms'' sign, i turned around and eventually, albeit too late, found the mcdonalds where you guys met. i did a u turn and figured that the way up to baw baw was to go up the road right near the mcdonalds called ''the avenue''. i did another u turn at ''the avenue's'' dead end. then, up the right road.

THEN, instead of heading toward gembrook, i took the road to cockatoo instead. after a while of me having a bad gut feeling, i turned around and took the PROPER road to gembrook.

then, i stopped off before noojee for 15 mins to try to text, no reception. drove into noojee, saw the kid with the ss commodore, played with him up the hill, got bored, did a u turn, and thats when i ran into you guys coming up the hill.

          MIRACLE!!!!

thanks so much guys for an awesome day. always killer to meet new folks (i havent been nearly as active in the dubscene as i should be, that'll change). sorry to keep you guys waiting at various points, but look at it this way- atleast you guys got to have plenty of powernaps throughout the day, lol!

i was actually quite proud of the little oiler. engine tried its heart out, but was let down by the horrendous brakes and stock land rover suspension. dump pipe/ mufflerectomy, then proper suspension and brakes, and hopefully i wont be keeping you guys waiting so long next time!

count me in for the next one for sure!

p.s. anyone got any links to the nissan's going off the road up there today? im gonna ask my cousin what forum to go to (he's a s15 man).

          cheers guys!

          scotty

This sounds as though it was alright. Pity I was still a Subaru driver back then.

                    When's the next fang?
