Meet: McDonalds - Pakenham (98 Princes Hwy - Pakenham)
Time: 11:30am
Route:

Go from McDonalds, up to Gembrook to regroup. Then Powelltown, then Noojee then straight up to Baw Baw.

Hey guys,

I am kind of hankering for a cruise and I unfortunately missed out on the one today, so I was wondering if any of you would like a cruise up to Mt. Baw Baw this weekend, either Saturday or Sunday?

I picked Baw Baw, because from what I've seen, it isn't a common cruise destination, so something different would be cool.

I'm going to spread this around the other forums (vwgolf.net.au and golfmkv.com) to see what interest there is around it.

I'll post a route once I see what the interest is like, I've also put a poll up to see what people prefer out of Sat or Sun.

Dang that will be a nice drive.

Mt Baw Baw is the 2nd hardest bicycle climb in the world, so id love to brrraappp it in my Mk3.

But im racing/working so no dice from me...

I'm gagging to get the car our for a spin, but until i get the mrs home from hospital im gonna be spending a fair bit of my weekend at the hospital im guessing.


Should be able to go early on monday night though and hit up the rising sun for some monday night dinner.

Heading up Reefton way this sunday to celebrate licence back !!! meet at eltham at 6 through toolangi than onto marysville have a break than up through the spurs maybe donna buang and home through warby and yarra glen or lilydale be home in the arvo to party !

Having said that I've never done Baw baw but im not interested in going mid-day to much traffic 7:30 at the spurs is for winners
