Better start planning for the day, we should try to get up there reasonably early to get a good area so we're all together.

Who's up for the Motorkhana? CAMS license required or buy one on the day. I'll start another thread for cruise planning etc a bit closer but consider your calendars booked out for that day already!

not sure about the cruise, i'll be bringing both cars, so my gf will have to drive one (the R probably) and she is not very confident with 3 pedals (3 pedals and 2 legs WTF??? ) so it will take us a long time to get there

Im up for it aswell, give me a chance to meet everyone. Like to try motorkhana and the cruise should be good. Any more info on both? Like do we need a helmet and how does the temp cams licence work? Cheers

No, you wont need a helmet. They haven't required one in previous years. The temp license is a 1-day license that you'll need to apply and pay for at the time. I think it was $60 when I did it 2 years ago. They will not let you on to the track without one.

Your car will also be briefly scrutinised to make sure it is safe for competition. Nothing major, just as long as the battery is secure and it all looks good under the bonnet you should be ok.

Cruise will be prior to the event on the way up, thats how we've done it the last few times.
