I went to this and it was a great show of all kind of old cars.
Checked out the Dub section and saw the G60 Corrado, Ive taken some pics and am trying to post it as we speak but cannot add a thread prefix!!! so frustrating.
Instead of starting a new thread ill just post it below.

Whiteman Park Classic Car show.

I recently attended a classic car show in Perth in Whiteman park.
There was an amazing amount of old cars. Not too many VW's. Perth seems to be an aircooled haven in terms of older VWs.
The VW club of WA turned up so i took a few photos.
I have plenty of other old school car photos tho.

Not at all sure how im supposed to paste in pics like ive seen in other threads.

hi fresh,glad you had a great day to there was a great variety of cars even ones i havn't seen for years like the escort cossie and saphire cossie and the lancia delta intergrales.Thanks for posting the pics of the Rado dude the wheels are borbet e's they came with it from Germany there is a thread on it somewhere.

Funny you say that, I've seen an Escort RS3 and what could have been a Cossie (don't know about the bodykit etc) just recently... Perhaps they've fallen within import requirements and a few have made their way over?

Hey guys.
Round 5 of the Speed Event Series is happening at Jacks Hill on Saturday the 1st of May. I wont be competing, but anyone with a CAMS L2S license, a fire extinguisher and a helmet can. I dont think you even need to be in a club. The VSCCWA and WASCC will be up there among others so I'm prolly gonna head up and watch. We could throw in a session on the Kart track while we're there?

Well due to the overwhelming response to the hillclimb, I'm now not going.

BUT, the Classic Challenge is on the next weekend 8th - 9th May. I'm gonna find out where the spectator points are on Saturday and go for a look at a few of the stages.

I think Grant is coming too.

It will be good to see as many of us would be able to compete in these events if we wanted to in future.

Can I get a show of who's keen on checking it out and maybe we could cruise up together?
