Will have to organise a bit of a meet sooner rather than later I think.

Sorry to all those thinking it was to the south. And going on last years experience. Watercoolers will probably be parked out on the road. This is a huge air cooled event with only parking for 280 cars. They didn't all fit last year because the majority of the parks were taken by kombies. Not to mention the hr long wait in the line up on the highway in the emergency lane waiting to get in was a pain in the arse.
How do you know they are going north ??? or you going on last years experience!!! Sounds fishie to me

Damnit, I just finished washing the car and being devoured by mossies. I was hoping to catch the convoy at the final meeting point down south but this puts an end to that. Damn aircooler exclusivity.

Yeah i went last year was ok heaps of air cooled was a ok day, i don't have my golf on the road atm but if anyone goes ill give you the hot tip i didn't use last year head off early before the convoy 2 reasons once you get there you'll be sat on the highway in a line up for about 30mins and they normally make the watercoolers go last and there isn't enough parking so head out early and you'll get a decent park and no traffic hassles.

Bit off topic. But if you'd searched on here you'd have found the link to his website. Linky
Other alternatives here in Brisbane are also Alba European (JMac on here) and also Laurence at German Auto at Geebung.

Depending on what you drive, and what results you want you have some options.

There are coils for about $1000USD or you can run some Koni FSD's and a set of springs, which is a very common swap. they seem to be a good compromise from coils while still giving a decent ride.

Mike is great to deal with, but for a MKV you'll be ~500 lighter in the pocket for the install.
If you want you can give me 400 and I'll do it
