Now do you need to be an advanced driver to attend such a thing. I mean I can drive OK, but not like my friend who is an advanced driver trainer, when he drives my car I hang on for my life. Fun though.

Unfortunately my Sports Mode won't be fixed by then, but the paddles will work fine. A new mechatronic unit is on its way from Germany.

Given that they've invited aircooled cars along, I doubt we'll be going over 70.

I've got a trip to Byron the following week and am looking at a couple of other things over the weekend so unless I get inspiration to clean the car I'm still not sure today. Will check back by Saturday.

It just keeps raining so I can't be bothered washing my car. Will think about this and probably won't decide until Sat evening.

Some Aircooled will put your cars to shame guys, careful. I was a religious attendee of Bugjam and plenty would blow most watercooled ive worked on, seen it. Im a Big watercooler mainly as i served my time on them but have major respect for them. Porsche aircooled are weapons, if you have had the pleasure to work on and drive a 993 Turbo or RS then you will know ( standard). Some Beetles will snap a half shaft trying to shame a water cooled car. Sorry but they have their place.
Anyway back to the story, would love to come but will be lying under a couple of dubs that day

I'v made a decision im washing the car this afternoon around 5pm . and it look like the weather on sunday will be the same as today so all good .

The cruise is only going North to the Humble Pie. Not to the South.
Sorry to all those thinking it was to the south. And going on last years experience. Watercoolers will probably be parked out on the road. This is a huge air cooled event with only parking for 280 cars. They didn't all fit last year because the majority of the parks were taken by kombies. Not to mention the hr long wait in the line up on the highway in the emergency lane waiting to get in was a pain in the arse.
