NSW 2010 VW Cruise - 6TH FEB

Anyone who wants to come along is more than welcome.
We're not going to be hooning around or racing or anything like that. Usually what happens, is the people who want to drive a little more 'sporty' through the twistier/mountain sections go at the front (the :R guys usually like to go up front doing Mac Pass) and anyone else who wants to just putt along and drive at their own pace can do at the back or middle of the pack.

In saying that though, we still do have to be careful with the length of our re-groups/stops etc so we can make the bowling club for around 1:30pm as the kitchen closes at 2:30-3pm.

This is all organised throughout the day at the various re-groups we have.
The idea behind the pdf was that even if you happened to be separated from the main group, you can still enjoy the cruise and meet up with everyone at the re-group points or lunch.

Noone : excellent be good to see a polo gti in the flesh, is it as much fun to drive as reported with good power to weight and all that?

I really cant compare as I have not been in much else... For me its quick enough (although could always be quicker) and is fairly nimble (for a budgeted handling upgrade). With the new toys I've impressed / scared a few people. After some cosmetic changes of recent, I'm really happy with it and don't think I'll be making too many changes in the coming while...

no one, your polo gti will definitely give any mk5 gti even with a chip a run for its money.
your much lighter and nimbler remember that!

Yeah its not the fastest thing above 100km, but its pretty quick getting there. Traction on the front end is nice now.

So I'm interested to see just how many people turn up for this as we are at what almost 30 and almost 20 maybes, man thats one long line of Golfs winding up Mac pass, all parked waiting for a nice gap in the traffic

Should be awesome, shame mkv has gone down till what monday due to hackers (?WTF?) as we may have been able to wrangle even more.....

Put me down as a maybe at this stage. Wont be picking my newly-acquired MK3 up til this Saturday coming, and sorting a few little things out on it during the week. If that fails, I'll 'borrow' the other half's MK4 Generation.
