Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

My Mother in law is arriving from the UK on the Saturday morning and we have been trying to sort out things to show her while she is in Adelaide.

Well number one on the list is take her to the show on Sunday.

It will be good for me as i can leave the wife, Kids and mother in law to walk round and chat, while i put some faces to the names on here.

Looking forward to meeting you lot.

Only one problem...Do i come in the Vw T4 Caravelle or the Mk2 Golf GTI?

        Rob

I will try a bit of spray degreaser on the Polo cause that is pretty dirty, then use the detergent spray, ajitate with a brush and finally use the Karcher to rinse off. The Karcher will be held a long way off the engine parts so I don't force water any where I don't want it. It also may work with just soft running water from the end of the hose for rinsing.
