No coin & crook gearbox have put my on the sideline till next year.
ah well.
For what its worth. If any of you are thinking of racing. Get there real early. I mean really early.
I got there last time at 5.30 & I didn't get on the start line till 9.50! Even if my car didn't break, I would have only got one run (& they garrantee 3 runs by 11 too! hahahaha)
Break down of the time line
5.30 arrived out the front
waiting in line for 1.30 hours to sign the paper work
waited another 2 hours in line for scrutineering
then had to wait nearly an hour in pit lane for one run! There was 3 lanes of cars the entire pit lane which is roughly 300-350m long
I'll be going to heathcote next time. Much more organized & much more laid back! Plus with all the time waisted standing around, I could have driven to Heathcote, raced & got home.
I will say that if your only going to watch. It will be a awesome night for spectator's. Last meet had a 250 car cutoff which ended up being close to 280-300!
well........ i called tim up at about 8-8:15, he just left scrutineering, drove down got there about 9 - 9:15 and he was waiting in pit lane half track....
ridiculous cars in line though! very much worth the drive to come and see the cars!!
