Not at all, most people will just turn up Failing all else I'm sure you can get someone here to pick you up (especially if you let them drive your car )

A day trip or school excursion to Royal National Park in Sydney's south, will offer plenty of opportunities for barbecues, fishing, bushwalking, birdwatching and whale watching.

Opening hours info linked off there, as are entry fees - even if just driving through, the entry fee is $11 per vehicle per day. You can sometimes avoid this if you go through the gate before they man the booth - I'm not too sure on the deal there.
I have just spoken to Lisa, a very nice lady from the Visitor information centre who has confirmed that there is only a charge if you are stopping in the Park, at the gates it's simply a matter of telling them your heading onto Stanwell Park and away you go.

In our case hopefully they will nod and smile if the first car tells them that the following 35 VW's are all with me

Hopefully so. I have a lot on at work at the moment (a large number of IT projects with work that often has to be done outside of business hours), so will have to play it by ear.

During the day, everytime I've went through there was a man at the booth. All you gotta say is that you're passing through to Stanwell and they'll let you through free of charge. It's only when you're staying within the NP (it's basically the permit/parking cost they're charging). Other NPs may be different (Bobbin Head charges no matter what). I've went through RNP at night as well and it's completely open (same with Bobbin Head).

Otherwise, it looks like we are pretty much sorted, drink and food are organised. Time and route is set, looking forward to this one (even if I don't personally get to do the cruise ).

For anyone interested I will be at Stanwell Park from 9:30 to set things up, so if for some reason your not cruising feel free to come down early, bring a chair and have a chat while we wait for the other hooligans to show up . Looking forward to seeing everyone again.

Uncle Leo's is the perfect meet point, it's only down the road from KK's and is on the way to the beach anyway.
