QLD Tiguan meetup Brisbane (other VWs welcome)

clip and I have been thinking about a Tiguan meetup in Brisbane for a photoshoot opportunity and social sharing of info and ideas.

If you have a Tiguan and would like to meetup with others from this forum to get some feedback and info how about Sunday 6 December 11am at Aspley Pick&Pay shopping centre (cnr Maundrell Tce & Albany Creek Rd) for a meet & photoshoot with a leisurely drive up to Mount Glorious for more photos afterwards. Alternatively post up other dates and places you think may be suitable.

All other VW's welcome as well obviously, maybe we can get some of you out of those small FWD disadvantaged hatches and into real AWD 2.0T VW powerhouses ....

Then on to the VWW Christmas party later in the afternoon. Will be a good all VWW day out !

sounds , but we are out for the 29th, but if you dont get enough interest for that date, be keen for another date (a number of w/es in Dec be Ok, but much closer to xmas may get too busy for others)

Maca, you last saw my Tig on the Dave Mack Cruise, you should see it now .... it now is substantially "enhanced" .... how does 200kw/410NM in a new VW AWD for less than $40K sound ? It is a R in disguise .... (and I mean the new coming R not the current power disadvantaged Rs )

Anyway ... since we have a few interested parties for alternative dates ... how does Sunday the 6th of December sound as an alternative?

looks like the 6th is gonna be a big day, the christmas party is on this date too , which personally i have no problem with cos now i dont have to drive back and fourth from brisbane for 2 events ........... this date also works well for me

In order to give the guys coming from the coast (north & south) a later start we can start this at 11am.

Will provide for an oppertunity to meetup, take some photos, go for a mini cruise and later in the afternoon join up at the Christmas function.
