Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Paul (campaign) on here, owns the GTI.

which passat do you mean? Pete owns the Red one (obviously) so I'm guessing you mean the Green TS. Don't know the owner, but know where he/she lives (near another members house) Maybe Pete or someone else had a chat to him?

great show, but sedf is where its at for the watercooled crowd, its pretty bad they put all modified golfs in one category, even the audi's were placed in seperate categories as i just saw on ozaudi. i really enjoyed the drive there n that was probably the best part of the day for me, any pics/vids of that?

Phew, just got home after leading Peedman and Static a merry dance up the hume.
We left at 7 and were rolling all day. Not a policecar in sight all journy and the GTI held up all the way to Sydders.
Had a good weekend with you lot, saw some good cars and chatted to some good people. Probably drank too much, but meh, I`m on holiday
Fave cars for me were the Campaign, Schwarzas Black A3, which looked mint and that Blue RS4 Wagon
Best ride of the weekend was a crazy Mk1 with a bench seat. Grinfactor plus. Cheers Tim.
Second best was my pickup from the airport in a Mk6 GTI, thanks Dom.

The Audi club organised their own 'show within a show', in conjunction with VWCV, and where able to secure their own sponsorship from an Audi dealer (forgot which one, maybe Adrian can chip in), hence the greater range of trophy's. SEDF is now on the VWCV calender, and the committee is happy to talk to you guys about a similar arrangement for DotVW 2010.

Glad every-one had a great day.

We'll have to see how SEDF turns out with the category situation, and go from there. Hopefully a few more of us can help out with the waterpumper section next year (at DOVW), not complaining about this years setup though.

More importantly I think the arrival situation needs some attention pronto! Don't know what happened, but I do know the arrangements need a bit of work.

Big props for VWCV for putting on another great show though!
