Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

This was my first DOVW experience & might i add what an amazing turnout it was. Had a great time meeting new faces, seeing all the different types of air cooled vehicles that was displayed & a very well organized event. Will definitely be back next year !

Anyways, here's a couple of shots i'd like to add enjoy guys

Ran into a pack of VW's along the way, so thought id tag along behind

smarties anyone, boy they look great

                              • DOVW through my Eye's...

                                Friday

Got up at the crack of dawn and rode my bike through the Dandenongs. Get home ring Jarred, and we organise Friday etc, get picked up in the GLD by Jarred and Stu and then scrub the whole way to Dom's, it smelt like we had done skids.

Chilled at Dom's for a bit sinking piss then went and meet the Sydney crew, had fun riding in Mk6 GTI and Passat CC aswell as all the other funny ****s n giggles we got up too. Cruise was heaps of fun then off to for free jugs at On Top. Dragged off all the ricers on the way home with Josh

                                Saturday

Got up went to work, quick trip to the BMW wreckers to pick up Pedro's bolts then back to work to finish building the wheel (bike shop repairs)

                                Wahed Jarred's Mk1

Then I drove to Geelong (thanks Jarred had a ball driving your GLD)

Spent the day chilling at Tim's and living the life talking etc.

Saturday night we had great fun at the carwash talking about secret forum business and VW's in general.

                                Yes Tim's VR6 is alive...

                                Josh enjoys cleaning his car

                                Sunday

We all meet at the cruise spot and zoomed on to the great line into th show. Had so much fun cruising in to the show via the monash will all teh Dubs.

Show was heaps of fun but of course I forgot my memory card

Sunday arvo after the cruise to the wrong spot we ended at SEDF Albert Park for an arvo of deck chairs and more talking. Pedro, Steve and myself spent serious time about my lack of suspenions drop which will be sorted dont worry people.

Loon was nearly dieing so a trip to St Kilda was had for dinner, those who fairied out missed one of the best meals and good conversations (And my burnout)

Big thanks to all those who made the effort over the weekend.

                                Cheers James

PS thanks to those who gave me lifts over the weekend as I was carless til Sunday
