I'm still a little pissed I have a wedding on this weekend, was so geared up to make the trek to Melbourne again, always fun.

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

Flying down, one way ticket. Hopefully will buy a car to drive back.

Wabit is picking me up from airport at 12noon Saturday, hopefully will pick up car and see Pete Jones.

Then some beers and a night of madness Sat and my usual hung over VW show on Sunday.

Some beers Sunday and drive back monday.

Hopefully see some of you lot somewhere along the way

The only compensation is to buy him Dom's golf, most people would give their left nut - and he probably has one in formaldehyde!

Bar is called "Ontop" (blame Sarah-Jane for that one)

we have a rooftop deck that seats 40+ that looks out over the railway carpark (130+ spaces)....photo ops! We serve standard Pubgrub, big feeds, great value. Draught on special to VW crew at $2.50 pot/$10 jugs.

plenty of room if anyone needs to crash, BYO swag/sleeping bag, opportunity to sleep under the stars on the roof

entertainment on friday night is Ministry of Sound DJ...AdamK, possibility of Brooke Taylor singing on the roof

bar is a chillaxed, casual joint with no pretensions.....kinda raw with a bit of bling.....but we aint found the bling yet
This is the pub the VW cruise will be ending at, we may do our own thing or may do both, play it by ear but im getting smashed as

last time i drove to sydney and back in my VR6 i think i averaged around 8 - 8.5L/100kms
That included driving around sydney as well though.. The trip will see you do around 2000kms over the weekend most likely
