Dyno Dynamics Dyno's have a Shoot Out mode they commonly use. Where the mainline dyno is a rolling power-run.Originally posted by DUB 12V View Postwhat does this mean (shoot out" like dyno day if you'd like to call it.)
does it mean its a good dyno??? i dont get it.,
Just a common question that has been asked as a lot of people seem to use Mainline in the past few years.
check this link to give you more info http://www.qldstreetscene.com/forums...showtopic=4096
all dyno's give you a ROUGH idea what your car is, never 100% accurate. too many factors we all know this. What’s behind you doesn’t matter..

Are you able to switch between the stock program and the Revo tune program? If not, it will be hard to tell how much you've really gained - different dynos give different results, and you can sometimes get different results on the same dyno on different days or just with different operators.Originally posted by rox44s View PostOkay i'm new to this forum, but i'll come to this dyno day. Just got my ecu re-mapped with Revo so it'll be interesting to see the difference on paper.
Dynos are great tuning tools, very useful if you can get a baseline and then post-change run on the same day, so you can see the benefit based on the variation, rather than on raw figures.
I'm hoping to be there.
Nothing to see here...
