Sorry guys, i was at college longer than necessary
3+1 is very poor, hopefully the next one will be better, maybe because it was on during the week...the last one was on a friday and wasnt a bad turnout?
I think the main problems are that it's during the week and not in a location easy for everyone to get to. I was considering coming along but there's no way I could make it to PJ's by 7:30 (or even 8:30 for that matter) on a Tues night.
It's a shame that the turnout was so low but you never know, it could be better next time.
We had three monthly meets and decided PJ's was best for the people that had come to those three. I couldn't make it last night due to family either, but I'm sure everyone will be there next month

From memory it was 2 original meets. 1st at PJ's then 2nd at Canterbury leagues. At CL it was decided to continue it at PJ's by the people that were there. Unfortunately the rest of us didn't have a say whereas a Poll would have been a much better way of deciding. That way everyone could have a say and make suggestions for more accessable places to meet. Anyway that's my 2c worth. All the best with the next one.

Ahh my bad, it was only two. Hey, by all means, throw up a suggestion and I'm sure all of us here are human enough to discuss it

The problem with polls is that lots of people are happy to have a say on an online forum, but then not follow through on their vote with actions. It's only reasonable that those who actually turn up get to decide where things will be.
As for not being able to get to Parramatta, it's pretty central to the Sydney population these days, and isn't exactly hard to get too, being well served by just about all the major motorways through/in/around Sydney. Given that we're a group of car enthusiasts, I wouldn't have thought that driving somewhere once a month would be so difficult, but I do understand that some people can't make it every time.

Yeah sorry dude but unless you live out that way it's a friggin joke to get to.
By the time I get home from work it's 6:30, then changed etc. Wouldn't leave home until at least 7. You recon you could make it from the shire to Parra in 1/2 hr at 7 on a Tues night, I don't think so!!!!!!!!!!! Parra is central to western Sydney and that's about it.
I've got no problems with driving to anything (god I even drive to the shops when they're less than 500m from my house :p) but I'm not going to rush on a Tues night and probably still be at least an hour late.
