Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Hell, you're a tough critic Steve! Or are you talking about when I missed the trun-off to the camping ground? I thought the Tig did pretty well in the tight stuff considering it's high centre of gravity. If anything, it needs a bit of work in the brakes department. Hmmmm, cooked brake pads

Tell you what, I reckon the traffic in the tight sections could have been worse. In all it was nice to throw the car around a bit, then blow the cobwebs out catching up.

That last little run through the national park was good too. You guys did damn well in those Polo's IMO!

Great to meet you guys today. My first VWW cruise and it went pretty well.

Big thanks to Pierre for the run, Mischa for lightening my load, and Ben for not hitting me in the arse.

I wondered why that security guard was losing it.

LOL... you were going quite nicely for your first cruise, well done!

Was a fun day good to see the usual crew plus some new faces. Good variety of cars too.

          Thanks Pierre for organising!

                        • Well firstly thanks to Pierre for organising a great run. Great to see such a good turnout.

The route was also first class.

These are a little cross section of the photos I managed to snap - enjoy : )
