Sent out around 100 PM's to all the Melbourne people I couuld find.
Waterboy, thanks for the invite. Don't know if I'll be free as may need to work back this week. Thursday out as have to pick up daughter from work at 9.00.
May not be able to do next week, but what about the big carpark in that shopping centre at Docklands nobody goes to. It's pretty well-lit inside, and still pretty new, so the floors are still shiny - if you get onto the roof you may be able to get shots of the cobwebs on the Southern Star!
I'd second this as a great photo op location. Went up there in March to shoot the Wheel and from memory it's free parking for 1hr. Set it up on one of the levels or the roof..like burtybear said, floors are pretty shiny still.
Problem though, not much around there for eating options.
Tuesdays are good for me.
Cheers,
Jayse.
