Any lap times from the Liberty guys? I know you mentioned some of those cars were running 200+ kW at the wheels which is just amazing - would be interesting to know how that translated into lap times.

I know the white Lib was running low 1:13's for most of the day... To be honest, the rest weren't really much competition. I've learnt that without coil overs, the Lib's AWD system is nasty on the track Thus why so many of us were off the track so often! heheheheheheh

My mate in the MPS3 was running around 1:18's... I think someone timed the 911 Turbo to 1:11-1:12... The SSV ute apparently ran around the 1:13's... Megane was low 1:14's... That is about all I can remember.

But I know the fastest time on the day was a member of this forum He knows who he is ... Closely followed by you James! I'm still getting over how hard that Polo of yours went!!!

Thanks for that info - nice to know we were doing the VW badge proud in some seriously powerful company.

I think Cliff turned a 1:09 in his Turbo with a passenger on board (no wonder those who had a ride were impressed - that's a seriously quick car and a fantastic driver). I managed a 1:11.2 in the cabrio and 1:14.4 in the 4WD.

It's certainly more than capable around the track - ran 18th outright at the Porsche Club Canberra Supersprint earlier this year at Wakefield (1:14.15) which certainly took people by surprise.

And of course that's in a completely stock 4WD with 3500kg towing capacity, full leather interior, 4 separate air conditioners, heated seats and a TV tuner...
