I'm flying out on 22nd so yes, will miss GCD this year. Still got some planning to do, make sure I've got all the necessary clothing etc or work out what to hire when we get there.

        Welcome Mike!

Wayne over at Ozaudi has suggested a kelmscott meet

              QUOTE
GCD is Sun July 26 at Northam. Most clubs do the usual routes via Toodyay Road, Gt Eastern Hwy or via York.
I suggest that we break the mould and do something more epic (apologies to Clarkson) and have a really good drive. Get your maps out and check this idea.
I suggest we go up Brookton Hwy from Albany Hwy and then turn in to Westdale Rd thru to Beverley then to York. Thru the main street at York and on to the road along the railway to Spencers Brook pub. Turn right over the river thru Spring Hill and then in to Northam.
To arrive at Northam by 11am we would need to leave at 9am. A good meet point would be the Maccas on Albany Hwy in Kelmscott. Coffee and snacks/brekky etc available without needing to make any arrangements - I see myself with some hotcakes for brekky. The Brookton Hwy turnoff is then only just up the road.
I think we probably can get enough Audis together to make it work.

Damn I think I'm back in Perth on the 30th, shame get miss the drive and some nice food.

Only the only positive note back to Europe in August so KW coilovers and CAI think are going to be on the shopping list.

250km min. Just make sure you have a full tank of gas and a lot of free time
