Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    I'm out sorry!

The traffic through blue mountains frmo last 2 cruise experience is HORRENDOUS! You will spend over an hour just sitting in the 1 lane road works roads up there.. great drive, bad traffic issues... rather bit more open road!

    putty road maybe instead lol
    What’s behind you doesn’t matter..

Unfortunately I didn't realise it was on Mothersday when I organised this way back when... Either way the mother of my children will be enjoying a nice mountains trip

              So who is coming?

Thought I should put up a few pics from this one... As it turns out a cruise on Mothers day in the rain didn't attract too many people. In fact it was only Golf Loon and Myself that turned up and he was just making a social call on the way somewhere else. Still, I had the wife and kids in the car so was intent on making a day of it.

We skipped Katoomba and headed instead to Little Hartley since there was a shop I wanted to go to. It rained most of the way there and back, but it did hold off long enough for us to have lunch and snap a few photos.

Zander was sure he could see our house... even though it was is the other direction
