In reagrds to the bonnet latch it must be a non-elastic item. Eg a leather belt, some cable with a carabena etc...

I will confirm on monday whether i will be coming, doing a thorough check over the car on the weekend, don't want to pay and turn up but get turned way.

Just to let everyone know, I rang up about the bonnet catches and was told I don't need one. So before deciding against entering due to strict scrutineering just give the organisers a call and see what they say.

I'm bringing some rope down though just in case I get told something different on the day.

I won't be racing tomorrow unfortunately, but think I will come out to take a look around.

A big thanks to Chis, Herb and all the Club VeeDub volunteers that helped organise and run this. It was good fun, especially once the track dried, with some 'fearsome' air-cooled cars driven by clearly fearless drivers! I'm glad I have a watercooled!
