Don't see why not.... the bigger the better (that's what she said). I think if we are going to get heaps of people, logistically it would be better for people to sort themselves out with food, instead of trying to organise some subway platters and some people missing out/having waaaay too much food. Not enough time to get approximate costings. Drinks is a good idea though if someone can oragnise it! (cogdoc, you said you would)

As long as we are near some food joints, everyone will find something to eat. If you starve, you most probably fail at life and should never reproduce

ummmm, i dont think everyone splitting up to find food is a good idea, subway is easy, we have 20 cars = at least 30 people perhaps; There are 15 mini subs per platter so if i price up three platters i think that should be heaps . . . btw no i dont work for subway and am trying to boost my profits! i just feel its a nice easy idea where i can pic them up at the start of the cruise and they're all ready to eat when we get down there (or getting them from a subway down there)

Also an idea for the route, because those lights on the goldcoast highway might break us up heres maybe an alternate (no traffic lights and more seaside views)

And as for a leader, i dont mind though its pretty straight forward and if others want to they can but just make sure you keep the car behind in your rear view mirror!




Also, because most of us dont have 2-way radios, pm me for my mobile number since i'll be at/near the front of the pack and will be able to slow down/pull over . . . . Same goes for others that want to be "leaders" and dont mind others having their mobile number, post up . . .

route looks good, but there are still lights at the start/end of the tugan where you get off the highway, and having 10+ cars we are bound to get split. I like the idea of driving along the coast road but dont want to draw too much attention that way, I think the goldy is pretenious enough without us joining in...

Still as long as we all end up at the right place in the end its all good


Also in regards to your map, the meet at Black St, Milton (behind the Maccs/BP) is where I'll be @ 9am for a 9.15ish depart, so we can get to browns plains by 10am. If any northsiders/westies wanna meet there leave a msg/pm and I'll make sure to wait.

yeah probably a good idea. i made my comment before i counted all the attendees. with the mkv forum involved, we are bound to get 35+ people, and there will be NO WAY we will all fit into the car parks.

AS FOR THOSE WORRIED ABOUT GETTING LOST, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HAVE A GOOD LOOK AT THE MAP BEFORE LEAVING AND AT LEAST HAVE HALF AN IDEA WHERE YOU ARE GOING.....DO NOT JUST RELY ON FOLLOWING THE CAR IN FRONT!!

THERE ARE NOT MANY SETS OF LIGHTS/TURN OFFS FROM THE HIGHWAY TO THE DESTINATION IT SHOULD BE EASY TO FIND THE PLACE, EVEN FOR YOU FOREIGNERS.
