Cruise details: Dates and Route

rant regarding getting lost (not directed at anyone) - set the route, take a map, have two-way radio's, set meeting points with enough time for everyone to catch up. Drive at your own pace.
Not that I was involved in that drive, but let's start afresh.

This is a catch-up, not a mountain run, so meet at the park if you don't wanna drive down in a group. I'll be setting cruise at 110km/h and heading south, can't loose many people in that scenario

hmmm, is it just me, or does this area not look so good? Or was it just because of the yucky weather??

I think the second spot would be better for parking, but if there isn't a BBQ, we'd need to organise one. Don't think mine will fit in the boot!!

Think we should look at a different end point?? Maybe head down south of the border and into the mountain at Tweed Shire and go for lunch at the Crystal Castle or something?

Or maybe there's a fish 'n chips shop close to where that end point is, and we can just grab some takeaways??

Just saying if its a nice day, its going to be packed for parks hey. Espcially if the surf is up. It is a good spot, and we should all get parks, but they will be quite scattered.

We're doing it on the Sunday - 29th March. Brisbane guys will be meeting up at 10am at their meeting point, and will make their way through at 10:25 (latest). GC guys (myself included) will be meeting at Robina (see post on page 1 with map) at 11am. We'll wait there for the Brissie guys to join us (most likely 11:15 - 11:30), and then we make our way as a group down to Rainbow Bay. Anyone who doesn't want to meet at the meeting point in Brissie is welcome to come directly to Robina, or go straight to Rainbow Bay.

KI11Z has been kind enough to go down and check the place out, and posted some pics. The weather looked bad on the day, but I'm sure it would be absolutely awesome if it's good weather. Keep your eyes peeled to this post for more info, but myself and Broady are in.

thats a long drive though definately a good one! recently i attended an Evo / Sti cruise up through there and it was a blast. i may come, will see how i/we feel

Im out for this one ill be at willowbank test n tune on 28th with the Mk1 with a couple other VAGs and polos also the awd-turbo.net will be out and im a global mod for the site so i have to be there to meet and greet the members and ill be to tired for the 29th and possibly have a broken car.
