Thanks to Ryan, Sandy and Alex for a organising a great day.
Good to see everyone again and go for a nice relaxing cruise down the highway first up even it did rain all over my clean car. Also good to see Tom and Luke duking it out to see whose APR exhaust makes the best noise. The spirited drive afterwards was also pretty good, even if Jon and I got left behind because we went the right way.
The R held up pretty well today after some abuse from some nasty crappy roads. There was three bangs of the suspension on some of those bumps and dips one of which dislodged the e-toll off my windscreen. Also the sensor that detects whether my door is open or not seems a bit funny. It's occasionally beeping at me telling me it's open when it's not. Hopefully it'll go away as opposed to getting worse. It seemed to be alright for the majority of the trip home up and down Mt Tamborine.
hahah no one to blame but my overconfidence in the turning circle, just as i went for reverse to correct up it slipped down
the picture does look alot worse then it was, pretty funny really seeing seems to have made the suspension feel more settled though not sure if thats a good sign.
just felt bad for holding alex ect up from the rest of the group.
Thanks to everyone who helped organise the day, turned out pretty well I thought. Special thanks to Alex who let me ride with him on the windy rds after lunch, your car is a beast, pretty fun stuff. Turnout was good as well, good to put a face to a username...
That mk2 Gti with the 17s looked pretty good to me as well. Reckon I should buy it?
