Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • NSW Sydney VW Audi Dyno Day - 8th of March

    VW/Audi Sydney Dyno Day (annual)

Date & Time: Sunday 8th of March 2009 - 8.30am onwards until 6-7pm (dependent on runs).

Entry Price: $60 - includes drinks, lunch bbq and possibly breakfast if we get the chance. (2 runs, 3rd dependent on time factor and vehicles booked in)

Spectators: $3 (why?, because you'll be eating food that others have paid for before they can! be fair)

Location: MAINLINE AUTOMOTIVE EQUIPMENT PTY LTD
Mainline Dyno offers fully capable, world-class dynamometers that help you with all of the diagnostic data that you need as an industry professional. Call now!

Factory 3, 35 Violet St. Revesby (off Old Canterbury Rd)

A lot of stock cars will be coming, so if you are stock or only slightly modified dont hesitate as your all welcome to come along to this. It will give you a good benchmark to what your car is as is present, then you can jump on the dyno later in time once you've done a few more mods and see where your at.

Payment is on the day itself and this is an AWD/FWD/RWD dyno. All vehicles are able to jump on. We may be having a few Subaru, BMW and Porsches run on this day as well fyi.

Please let me know (via replies here) to whom will be attending (and running)
    What’s behind you doesn’t matter..

Will see how I go with the family, even if I don't run my beast it would be good to come and say G'Day to everyone.

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

I'm a tentative yes but these things always depend on what the kids & wife are up to.

I'm really interested to see what the 1.8TSI does & what the AF ratios are.
