Well it totally hammered down, thunder, lightning and all... until just before the movie started and it dead set stopped Excellent.
It was quite amazing, the field for Love the Beast was packed, the other field would be lucky to have a dozen cars. Looks like a few clubs came out for the night, rain and all.
We had three Golf's and three Kombi's, so not bad considering the weather...

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.
It was absolutely pouring here and I really wanted to go , I couldnt really see the point going when it was raining so much , knowing my luck it probably stopped when the movie started

Haha yeah that's EXACTLY how it was! I was preparing for the worse... it was still raining when the projector was first lit up but a few minutes into the movie, it stopped completely (save for a few sprinkles here and there, but nothing a quick wipe wouldn't fix!). Was able to put the windows down and feel the cool night breeze; not gonna be the last time I'll go to the drive-in!
