  • WA Tuning Arvo Or Track Day???

Im looking at booking sometime up at the AHG track near the international airport. But I have a problem....

To book the track on a weekend means ill have to gather $825 from 10 people ($82.5) before I can book and its non refundable aswell once paid or....

We can choose a tuning arvo (which is only on a weekday) and you ring up seperatly and book your car in for that choosen arvo, It costs $55 per person for the tuning arvo and we will be running with other cars, eg WRXs and etc.

If there is any questions please ask!!

      can i vote for both?
I dont really care which one we go for, as long as we dont go cruising around the same roads, im getting a bit sick of them.
I'd prefer if there were only VWs but i dont mind other cars too. Im sure i can get a couple of bmws to join us. Maybe post the same thing on ECCA and ozaudi to get more people to join

Can you post up a link or a comparison of what we get for the two events?

              I'm keen on either.
I attended a Tuning Afternoon late last year and the instruction by itself is well worth the cost of entry.

I'm up for either, or both, as I was planning on going soon anyway.

I need to 'break' the pirelli in a little though, so I really won't be ready until at least the end of Feb.

Okie the difference between the two.....
Track day can only be run on a sunday alot of the time, Tuning arvo can only run during the weekdays. A track day runs for 4 hours and the time you get is from 8:30 to 12:30 or 12:30 to 4:30. Tuning arvo runs from 2:30 to 5:00.

Track days you only get the use of the skid pan and the tuning arvo you get use of the skid pan and the 1.6km track aswell.

You cant start the track day til EVERYONE is there so if anyone is late, everyone is losing out on time on the track. But with a tuning arvo you can start as soon as the clock strikes 2:30!! No matter if everyone is there or not.

I know from expericence that the tuning arvo is the way to go, I know it might look like alot less time but with the skid pan and track running we can get heaps more runs in.

Well in that case, I've done a track day before, so my vote is for a tuning afternoon. Bit of a bugger that it has to be during the week though.

Nice vids too, Tinto! Watched the speeddome ones too looks fun
